Of these 11 beaches, we have selected 6 for you: Plage des Sables d'Or, Plage de Marinella, Plage des Corsaires, Plage de la Madrague, Plage des Cavaliers and Plage de la Barre.

As you stroll along these beaches, you'll come across a host of small bars and restaurants, perfect for a sunset aperitif.

BIARRITZ : 

Are you staying in Biarritz? 

Here are the Biarritz beaches you really need to know about: Plage de la Milady, Plage du Port Vieux, Grande Plage and Plage de la Côte des Basques. 

Swimming at the Côte des Basques beach is suspended at high tide due to lack of access.

BIDART :

Bidart also has plenty of beaches. They stretch all along the cliffs and offer a magnificent landscape.

For your safety, it is forbidden to place your towel at the bottom of the cliffs. 

Here are the different beaches in Bidart: Plage d'Ilbarritz, Plage du Pavillon Royal, Plage d'Erretegia, Plage du Centre, Plage de l'Uhabia and Plage de Parlementia.

SAINT JEAN DE LUZ : 

If you visit Saint Jean de Luz, you're bound to see the Grande Plage, which is the best known.

But there are others: Plage des Flots Bleus, Plage d'Erromardie, Plage de Lafitenia, Plage de Mayarco and Plage de Cenitz.

On these beaches, the sand is different and there are rocks in the water. 

For your safety, you should be aware that a large part of the beach may disappear during high sea levels.
